Buying weights and benches near Dundrum.

Does anybody have any recommendations where to buy equipment for doing some weights at home, ie: A good bench, barbell, and assorted weights?

Living near Dundrum, I looked through the Argos catalogue in the shopping centre today, but was wondering if there was anywhere else in Dublin with a good variety, and perhaps some bargains!

    Any ideas?

I have seen that link before, but found their prices a lot higher than the likes of Amazon or Argos online. So a further question,

    - Is the equipment sold by the likes of Argos cheap because its crap, or is the equipment good enough. Realistically I dont need a professional set up, just the basics. I dont really want to pay the usual Irish inflated prices if there is only a minute difference in quality from the likes of Argos.

I'd like to see where you would find cheaper Olympic weights, I've found IL pretty good value all in all.

As far as benches go, you could buy a cheaper one online, but you'd have to factor in the shipping cost.

Most of the argos gear is complete ****e, so really you get what you pay for.
