beginners bike polo

    hey guys,

    anyone interested in havng fun and trying something new on their bikes come down and play some bike polo with us.

    our first beginners session was a great success so now we have one every sunday at 13:00 in eamon ceannt park beside the velodrome.

    we have everything you need to play, all you need is a bike! any bike will do, if you can make it to the courts on your bike then it is good enough to play on (for now :D).

    its going to be slow paced to start off with so everyone can get used to riding with a mallet and controlling the ball and this keeps bumps and tumbles to a minimum. the rules are simple and there will be a few regulars there to show ye the ropes.

    we also play on saturdays at 13:00 and tuesdays at 18:00 on the same court. we play a bit faster then but we always take it easy on newbies :D.
