Normal, Bar The Sword are recruiting.
Currently, we have a 7-piece lineup, featuring guitars, vocals, drums, trumpet, harp and Viola. We play fun music, which is definitely rock/alternative-oriented, but branch into all sorts. Having played some gigs and established a strong set of original songs we are now looking to find a bassist (our original bassist recently emigrated).

Would especially like to hear from some female bassists/vocalists (as I think a female vocal would really add to the existing harmonies) but we want to talk to everyone and anyone who wants to have a lot of fun making music and playing gigs.

Band is based in Dublin, has male and female members, and range in ages from early 20s to 30s. We will talk to anyone. Looking for people comfortable with their instrument, up for trying things, and looking for something interesting.

One rehearsal per week, very relaxed practice atmosphere, and aiming to play as many gigs as can be got and have as much fun as possible.

Mail me with your details, and any samples of you playing and I'll send on some audio samples of the band.
