Can anyone advise me as to what temperature my immersion should be set at?

    Thanks.

Should be set at 60degrees c , they usually come set per set at that , you shouldn't reduce it as you could cause legionella , if your problem is that your water is too hot it's probably a faulty stat

I have been having awful problems with the heat of the water from the immersion. doesn't happen when heated from the boiler. It gets so hot its unable to stand under and then it cuts out ie. the water stops flow - when the control on shower is reduced to below 30 degrees.

Will have it looked at and hopefully that's the problem as have someone look at it but they couldn't figure out what was wrong. They said it maybe the filter in the controls?
