    Well, some group (other articles say LulzSec) claim to have got a few logins and hashed (encrypted) passwords from an Apple database. Seems the database was for logins for a survey site Apple's business intelligence unit ran *.

    It hasn't been even confirmed yet, but assuming the story is true.

    1. The passwords are encrypted, so useless.
    2. It was from some obscure survey site, not iTunes, Apple Store or Developer Centre logins.

    So it doesn't exactly sound like hack of the century.
