jvc radio wont turn off

    just fitted jvc radio in my passat but when i turn off car and remove key radio stays on bit annoying!!

    any ideas to fix this??
    change in wiring maybe??:confused:

    You need to wire it to the starter/igmition and not directly to the battery. Did you wire it yourself?

    There's a switched 12v in under the drivers side of the dash that you'll need to bring a wire to. lad, I've seen some comical wiring done in passats by paid "professionals"

    i bought the necessary iso adaptors and fitted it myself the jvc wiring gives the option of connecting the yellow to red for some vws would this be the way to go?
