Blackberry curve 8520 & BBM questions..

So a couple of questions i have.

1. Im thinking of getting the blackberry curve 8520 on meteor. Im currently on billpay 30e per month with free meteor to meteor calls and texts and a GB of internet usage but cant get an upgrade so was going to buy the phone on prepay and use it with my billpay sim.

So when i do this will i still be able to use BBM and push emails and the internet browser?
Also, how much does this cost per month and how is it billed?

2. Was thinking of buying the same phone for my GF shes on the meteor PAYG 20e per month with free texts to all networks.

Will she be able to use the BBM etc. and if so how much will it cost?

1. not unless your bill pay sim is enabled for BIS (which I presume it isn't as there'd be no point having a pre pay one enabled as you'd be paying for two BIS (Blackberry internet services) enabled sims. Bill pay BIS costs 4.99 per month and on pre pay it's 9.99 for 1gb of data

2. If she gets BIS enabled and pays 9.99 per month on pr pay then yes she can use BBM. Once you've BIS, bbm is free

so how would I go about get BIS enabled so I would only have to pay 4.99 per month?

also if I don't get this service can I still access the internet?

is this service worth the money every month?

Carroller I did exactly what you are planning, I'm on the €35 a month smart plan, couldn't upgrade yet so I bought a prepay Blackberry. I put my bill pay sim in, rang customer services and they added the Blackberry services for me.

There was an offer for 3 months free Blackberry so don't forget to ask is this still available.

It'll allow you to go to the blackberry website and use some installed apps like you tube but no you can't surf the internet as normal with wifi without the add on.
3 dropped the 9.99pm charge yesterday, meteor can't be far behind.

You can use another browser such as bolt or opera and then without BIS the internet will still work, Not sure of charges though:
