Implantation and contact sport

Forgive me if this seems like an awfully naive question :o

While we are trying to conceive, should my wife avoid anything that involves contact sports or sports that involve sudden shaking of the body? I mean, before implantation can you shake the newly fertilised egg loose! ??

Would we be better waiting until we are sure our efforts have had a result first :) ?
In general, should pregnant women stay away from any sports or activities that involve sudden or sharp shaking's (my wife is prone to jumping on my back when I least expect it!!)

Thanks and good luck to all trying for a little loved one!

Unless you are doing IVF, carry on as normal.
In terms of contact sports, once she is definitely pregnant, she should consult her doctor about what is appropriate. Most sports can be continued but if she does something like karate where there may be strong kicks to the belly, she may be adviced to stop.
