    Where are you based?

    The biggest UK sites are:

    www.ironscience.co.uk
    www.myprotein.com
    www.bulkpowders.co.uk
    www.bodybuildingwarehouse.co.uk

If you want a discount code for myProtein, feel free to PM me.

I tend to try to support local supplement shops, and usually go for ON whey or casein, or Kinetica whey, all of which are very nice. I have been known to get some of the Tony Quinn Protein, but the one aimed at men, not the female version.

I also buy some Trec Night Protein from the Vitamin Shop (bodybuilding supps) in Moore Street Mall), which mixes to a sort of protein pudding rather than a shake.

But really, I'll try anything if the price is right and the quality looks okay.

I paid something crazy for half a KG of protein from the Tony Quinn stall in the Jervis at Xmas..

I am based in Dublin - I'll give you a PM marathonic.

    Yeah Tony Quinn ain't cheap.

I recommend Optimum Nutrition whey. It's about 30euro for 1lb tub.

BSN synthia 6 is suppose to be good if you want a MRP.

I buy mine in Tescos.. 100% Whey protein strawberry flavour. Tastes nice and 21 euros a tub. I hated a lot of the ones I tried.. Best value I've found. Not all Tescos stock it though. Only Mahon Point in Cork do and they don't always have it. HTH

I did PM marathonic by the way, he gave me a code to use when registering which gave him a referral discount and nothing to me it seems. Ah well.

EDIT: Getting a "Sorry, You can only use an MP Referrer Code on your first order" which is obviously weird given I just signed up.

    Didn't know Tesco had it.

Not all whey is equal. You need to check the amount protein per 100g as some have a lot of filler.

Impact whey is good quality usually so be glad you bought that.

Sorry for jumping on your thread...
Ive always used Impact Whey - 5kg bag for 42 pounds delivered or something.

But myprotein have lots of different forms of protein. Any better than the rest?
Also reading a lot about casein & whey blended. Any comments?

Mick @ irish-lifting.com does the ON products. His prices are pretty good too. ON gold standard whey is a great product.

When Lyle Mcdonald was here a few years ago he recommended:
Muscle Milk and After Max (after max is a recovery drink).

And I can vouch for Lyle's on this. I've tried 'em all and I got my best results while on Muscle Milk and After Max.

I just got a delivery from discountsupplements.ie yesterday. Placed the order at about 7pm, was shipped by about 7.30pm and it had arrived the next morning. Great service.
5lb of ON Gold Standard (with a free tub of ON Fibre) and a sports water bottle came to about €55 delivered.
