Worked a double shift, 15 hours, with a killer hangover, and only had 4 hours sleep before it. Actually i was still drunk when i started, went from that to feeling sober, to a not so bad hangover, to dying, thinking this would be the hangover that killed me, worst ever, to just getting right again by the time i finished, in time for more pints

I had to shift a few boxes into the garage today. The worst definitely has to have been the bags of cement I had to shift into the back of the jeep this one time.

Had to work Christmas eve last year, I was working on the 12th floor of a high rise office block - high up enough to see the throngs going home for Christmas, close enough to the ground to see their happy faces:(

    Worst shift of my life.

I was looking at something NSFW a while ago and I went to hit ctrl+tab when the boss walked up behind me. I panicked and just hit shift+tab. Lucky he was cool about it. Worst shift ever.

Was at a cross dressing fancy dress in mcturcaills last night, some bloke found my outfit way to realistic.

He even kept on going when he dropped the hand.

Usually any time I go for the old "ten to two" (1:50am) shift I tend to regret it the next day.

As a non-smoker I find the worst shifts I have to be with guys who do smoke and their mouth taste like an ashtray

Yes, I've shifted a few cats in my time.

I was young and thought "getting pussy" meant something else :(

Shifted a guy who was like a washingmachine, just kept going around and around and around. Soooo Boring.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,538 ✭✭✭flutterflye

When I was about 15, there was this guy who spent his life in the gym.
He'd take steroids and god knows what else.
So I think that's what caused him to come at me with big gnashing teeth and kiss me like a shark.

I knew a guy who was a bit pissed and shifting a girl outside a chipper. Eyes closed he got dizzy and was leaning a bit too heavily on her and the two of them came crashing down onto the path, he on top of her, the result was

    1 broken nose
    2 lost teeth
    8 stitches
    Lots of blood

    Worst Shift?

Would have to be that time I was up all night reading AH, with my Dog beside me, trying to stay awake only to see people intentionally misinterpreting the question much to the ire of the OP... and then my Dog stuck its tongue deep inside my mouth.

This is something very few people ever knew about and still something that makes me feel ill any time I think about it. When I was in college one night I shifted a girl and we were both fairly locked. Purple Haze was bought and we got back to the shifting. About two minutes later what did she do only vomit!!! It went everywhere. In my mouth. On my face. Although the bouncer only seemed concerned that the puke got onto the couch. It was the most vile thing that ever happened to me. And it was always the most awkward 10 seconds any time we walked past each other on campus after that. Needless to say we never spoke to one another again.

I was shifting a girl when I was about 12/13. Thought it would be a great idea to run my hands through her hair, so I did that...

...and a hearing aid fell off her ear.

We both looked at it on the ground for a second before she put it back on and we continued.

One.. My first boyfriend, we were both in our early teens however he had previous girlfriends so I was positive it would be wonderful..wrong. It was like having my face put in a washing machine.
Two.. A year or two ago I was drunk and one of my friends kissed me..same slobbery kiss as number one. I want to be kissed on my lips, not cheek/upper lip/chin!
