    Hi guys!

I'm thinking of applying for a job advertised as a Secretarial Studies Teacher in a Second Level VEC school which runs a PLC Course.
The only thing is that although I'm qualified to teach typing and shorthand, I have never actually taught them.

Is there any point in me applying for this job or is there more to Secretarial Studies than this?

Any advice would be gratefully received!!!

I think you'd be grand. Google fetac 5 secretarial studies and get the descriptor . Word processing and communications is included in this too,

The hardest part of it is to teach typing, the rest is just a combination of Maths (sooooooo basic), communications, ICT. It'll be no bother to ya
