I’m living in France currently and I’d like a decent PVR for French terrestrial digital TV. There’s a Sagem box for sale here but the review highlighting an unresolved recording freezing bug which I don’t like the sound of. I already have a Humax for satellite Freeview recording and I’m impressed with it and thought if I could buy the terrestrial version that would be great. Otherwise my TV is Sony so their new box would fit in too. I’ve compared the Sagem’s receiver specs to the Humax and the Sony and it looks to me as if they would work here but I’d appreciate the advice of someone with a better understanding of these things. Also, any views on how the EPGs would work. I’ve read that the Sony has some difficulties even with Freeview.

    Thanks in advance.

I attach the specs to help anyone with the spare time to take a look.
