the post man just came...on saturday

    No thats not the start of a porn movie lol :D:p but today is Saturday july 2nd and we got a letter frm the post man this morning.

    Since when does An Post in Carlow delever on a Saturday morning???

    Has any one else had this?

    They seem to deliver on Saturdays on the 2/3 weekends before Christmas. Seems strange though.

    might have been left in a neighbors house, happens all the time for me. (and I even know our postman since school) :-)

    There could be a few of the most men on holidays so the rest could be doing a bit of overtime to cover the holidays?

    I've met the postman in newbridge delivering on a saturday a few times. Was talking to him and as mentioned above he told me it was because of having a few guys out during the previous week, holidays/sickness/etc.

    It's summer, there are staff off on holidays so the rest are working a bit of overtime to keep on top of things
