Can black girls dance/move their bodies better than white girls?

This is my current fave youtube video. It's a song from Kenya, and the video features a black girl gyrating her booty into oblivion... (there's also a white girl but she dances as if she has some sort of mad shoulder itch)

I just wanted to ask, can any of the girls here do what the lady in the video does at 1:15.... Her arse moves like a bloody machine gun.

Do you think you could learn this machine-gun-ass move? Do you think you could dance they way she does throughout the video? Or do black people simply dance better than whites?

Of course I assume I'm addressing a white audience...

I've wondered this at times when I see the likes of Beyonce doing that move. Afaik it's called a 'shimmy' in belly dancing and it's quite advanced as you can imagine.

I have seen white girls do it though - for example Brittany in Glee can do that move and it looks so easy for her. I have no idea how they do it, it's so fast!

By the way, shortly after the machine gun booty part they shout the word "nyama" at eachother. It's Swahili for "meat"... he's referring to her booty of course.

Found it! For some reason it won't let me embed it so sorry for link but you can see that she's well able to do it, she does it a bit slower because she's teaching the class. But she has that fluidity that really excellent dancers have.

Yeah she's pretty good... she can move her booty! But no machine gun bum. I was asking about white girls in general not some super expert in booty movements. Like my (black) girlfriend can machine gun her bum, and she's no expert.

A lot of us white girls were sent into ballet. Ballet is very rational and the pelvic area is stationary.

African dance is entirely the opposite. The shapes you have to make with your body in African dance go entirely againt the body brain washing of ballet.

Same with jazz, which is a mmixture of african and modern.

If you have had ballet training in your background, it's very very hard to move out of that muscle memory into African or Jazz shapes.
