Does anyone know if O'Brien's shop is still in Quayside? I haven't been there but I heard they do a lot of sweets, like old fashioned sweets, is this true?
    Thanks for any help.

Yes it's a great shop. There is also another one near the Oxfam shop on Grattan Street.

The 2 O'Brien's sweet shops which specialize in old school candy are actually owned separately. Made the mistake one day of asking about one shop to the other and I got a very firm response informing me on the facts!

I don't know which I prefer.. Probably the one on Grattan as it has these gorgeous Monkey Bars? aka Banana Skids.. OBSESSED :P
