Are there many places around selling PlayTv? What price is it nowadays?

I think you would probably get it in Gamestop. You'll definitley get it in most game shops in the North.

    I bought mine on adverts.ie for €40 incl. P&P. I think it's around €50 to buy.

Thanks for making the video it looks brilliant im going to get this now. Sorry but another question do you just plug your aerial straight into the playtv and then the playtv in connected straight to the ps3

Yeah, PlayTV plugs into your PS3 with a USB cable and you plug your aerial into the PlayTV. Really simple to set up. If you need any help, just let me know.

It is amazing alright, but I've found that watching the Saorview channels on Play TV causes my PS3 to crash and it takes a power-off to get it working again. Other people have reported the same thing. I'm using the latest software for both the PS3 and Play TV. The problem only seemed to emerge when RTE Jnr and RTE1+1 started up (although I don't know if they're the cause of it).

    Yeah, this happens me too.

But it's not because of the RTE channels being added, it's just a glitch as it does the same for people in UK.
Still though, the system is good.

I got mine from amazon (http://www.amazon.co.uk/Sony-Play-TV-PS3/dp/B0017UV0UG) for £30.

One word of warning on playTV.... Personally I'm finding the picture noticeably worse than my other two Saorview sources (sony and panasonic tv's). This is especially noticeable on low bit rate channels.
