sounds way too low for a diesel, the tank on the car version is 52 litres according to parkers.co.uk so you should really be getting a lot more than that

really? whats causing the shortage? a good service i guess?

Not sure the tank capacity but put it this way. I can get about 60litres into my 1.6TDi Passat and can do 1200kms or so so you're getting screwed with your MPG.

    Something is up somewhere.

Changing the air filter anyway. A lighter pair of shoes often works too.:)

There has to be an issue, even city driving with a full load should get better then that. Unless it hasn't been serviced in years then a service is also unlikely to change much. You have a problem I'd say.

Maybe you're missing a wheel or two? Or is the gearbox stuck in 1st gear?

this has nothing to do with anything.. it depends on how much you drive

    more miles = more fuel
