Do you eat fast or slow?

I eat very fast. I usually need to watch my pace if I'm eating with other people because I don't want to seem like I was starving

Seriously though I do eat way too fast. My ex GF used to say 'slow down' when we sat down to eat. I'd be lashing into my food as if it was going to be taken away at any second.

Stupid theory time.

My theory is that men are programmed to eat quickly so that they can have their fill before other men come and try to fight them for it. We need to keep our strength up to remain strong so that we can beat other men up and run off with their women.:pac:

Slow and it wrecks the girlfriends head!

Also wrecks my head when waiting staff start to clear the table and I'm still eating, I've often had to ask them to go away until I finish.

Im not THAT slow either, I like to enjoy my food.

I eat fast to the point of indigestion after every meal. I keep telling myself to slow down and chew properly but I get bored and my jaw gets sore.

I am also incapable of chatting during a meal, if I do I have a mouth full of food and that's supposed to be bad manners. There's just no way I'm letting my dinner go cold whilst listening to a girl telling me about her new puppy or some ****.

Eat slow and you can taste all the different ingredients and create diferent combinations from your plate to your fork etc

Thats eating meals, when it comes to taco fries or bags of crisps I'm the fastest eater known to man

Having two kids is part of the problem, you don't get to enjoy the food as the kids need attention.

plays havoc with the gut and it's really bad. I know better, so it's something I'm working on..

What happens is that I eat my food and then a few minutes later I eat what ever food my girlfriend has left.

It's not my fault if she is hungry, she should learn to be faster.
