    hiya,

I'm thinking of bringing my two little girls to a pet farm this weekend, just wondering whether to go too Glendeer near Athlone or Turoe pet farm near Loughrea. Anyone got any opinion of either?

    Thanks.

In my opinion Turoe pet farm has gone downhill terribly over the years. The pens where the small animals are kept look dreadful with dirty rusty water containers, doesn't look very good. The large animals are nothing exciting either. The indoor play area is probably what kids like the best.

Haven't been to Glendeer but it looks pretty good from its website, I would definitely go there if I had a choice.
