Hey guys,

Myself and my friend will be taking an overnight train from Paris to Berlin and are trying to keep our costs at a minimum where we can. Can anyone tell me what a day couch in a 2 berth compartment on an overnight train would be like to;-

1. Sleep in;
2. What is it exactly?? The train website isnt the most informative in terms of knowing what you're booking!

look at the man in seat61 website for all things train related.
bahn.de also good for timetables etc.
