RoboCup 2011: Maynooth's (and Ireland's) team going on Monday

    RoboEireann, Maynooth's and Ireland's only robotic soccer team is heading to Istanbul on Monday for RoboCup 2011, which is basically the robot world cup. It'd be great to have people's support, so like the Facebook page at;

    Pity I didn't see this sooner!

    Good luck with the competition and be careful with the taxis in Istanbul - and don't go into any gazinos or pavyon!

    You were right about the taxis!

    To follow up on this, the soccer didn't go too well, we got knocked out in the first round, but we did get 1st place (of 27 teams) in the open technical challenge.
