casual mens outfit for wedding?

    heya
    just wondering any suggestions for a guy going to a wedding, doesnt have to wear a suit. he lives in combats/band tshirts combo... tall skinny frame...very fussy, will only wear plainish stuff... thanks for any thoughts

    Everybody wears suits to weddings.
    You can even hire them for the day now.

    no, he has a suit and normallly wears them to weddings but the couple have stipulated that people dont wear formal, its a more casual thing.. we went to a wedding last year, only guys wearing suits were best man and groom, it was in the sun and VERY casual so what he wore to that wont do.

    Why doesn't he wear the suit, wait outside for a few minutes and have a look at what everyone else is wearing. Then, if he wants take off the tie, throw it in the car or even in his pocket and wear the shirt with the top button opened.

    That would be more casual than a full blown suit and would also cover him if a lot of lads decided to wear the full thing.

    A plain cadi, with a shirt underneath and jeans.
    Sorted.

    Leave the last 2 buttons undone. Totes in. He could even add in a tie if the need arises.
