Light summer wear for abroad

    Hey Guys

I'm moving to South Korea in 3 weeks, and I've been told the weather is very very hot and humid there during the summer, to the point where you're taking a few showers a day to cool down! My wardrobe is a bit sparse at the moment as it is, so I've set aside some money to do a bit of shopping before I go. It's unlikely I'll find anything to fit me over there as they mainly stock sizes for the Asian frame (short, flat chested, very slim). I'm 5'10' and a size 12 with a large chest; I have a pic in the what you wore today thread for reference.

I've been advised that casual clothes are fine for my job teaching there, but that Koreans tend to show off their legs and not their chest/shoulder area, so if I go around wearing spagetti/tank tops I might get a few stares. I figure a light cardi will solve that one though. I can't really wear tops that are too high neck as they usually don't really suit me very well.

I'm looking for dresses that I can wear with leggings and some that will carry over to winter wear too (it gets very cold there in winter, so I figure I can team them with a top underneath and a cardi/boots). The dress in the pic I have here is one of the best styles for my shape, but I've never been able to find one with a similar fit. I love the 'Closet' brand dresses and have one that I love, but the material is quite heavy. I don't want something too heavy that will be sticking to me in the heat...but at the same time I don't want something 'flimsy' as I normally look better in structured styles.

I'd preferably like to find something instore as opposed to online, as I've a bit of a weird shape and I always have to try dresses on before buying them because half the time they look very different on.

Thanks in advance for any tips!!!

    G :)
