    These look like they may shake up the market ..

    Capactive Screen, HDMI, 1 GB Memmory, 16gb flash.

    I know Archos have a bad rep - but these specs are hard to beat for the price!
    Out in September.

    Very nice.

    'Normal' Market access though.. on an Archos tablet, I'll believe it when I see it.

    I don't mind their hardware, I object to their, nickel and dime approach to customers, for extra codecs and functionality.

    Looks like a nice table alright, but I'm not buying any more Archos products myself after the 10.1 went tits up on me.
    The codec thing is really annoying too so I'll be steering clear.

    If they make the screen better than the Archos 101 they could be onto a winner, other than that it was a great tablet for its price range really. :)

    One question i have about this is will it be the best Android Tablet out Spec's wise come september? If the hardware on it is good, and the software is buggy, couldnt you simply put a different rom on it? wouldn't this give you the best outcome...

    Word of caution. Users from Germany and other parts of the world are uploading videos of a 'sensitive' screen bezel and rear. Any kind of pressure results in 'water rings' on the screen.

    Commenters on the videos suggest those YouTube users have this problem too.

    I am aware that the screen, by its very nature, is going to be sensitive to pressure. But what's going on in the videos is very slight, 'normal' pressure.

    Pity. I love the shape of the G9. I was quite happy to be a guinea pig and buy one, but not with this kind of lark. I'll wait it out to see if it is just teething problems..

    Specifications for the hardware is close to the Amazon Fire too (dual OMAP). The market changes quickly. Might wait for that instead.
