    Does anyone know if i get money straight to bank account or how does it work ?

    I claimed money back through un-used tax credits and was sent a cheque for whatever amount I was due.

    I have also heard that it can be deposited into your bank account, not sure how that is set up though.

    If Revenue Commissioners have your bank details, then your refund automatically is sent to your bank account. As far as I know you can put your bank details on record through PAYE anytime.

    Just wondering someone said to me they might not give you the money straight and that what they might do is that i mite not pay tax for while until im refunded fully ?

    Any idea ?
