Proper Florentine steak, in a tiny little restaurant in Florence.
So simple to do, very few fancy ingredients, and absolutely gorgeous!

Hotel where I stay in London, had an excellent chef for a few years, sadly no longer there but ......

    Starter

Stuffed Squid with a very light butter sauce on a bed of spinach with a few garlic bits.

    Mains

Lamb with red wine jus on a bed of mash with beautifully cooked Green beans in a seperate bowl, seasoned with butter and garlic. A very simple dish but what made it stand out was that it was cooked to perfection.

    Chips. McDonaghs.

McDonaghs was always the highlight of our holidays whenever we went to Galway when I was a kid!

Steak, chips and onion rings in the Tea Rooms at the Clarence Hotel in Dublin was pretty great! Great steak and proper chunky chips. Probably tasted even better because I wasn't paying :D

Burger at Cafe Des Anges up near Bastille in Paris. Unreal!

Fondant au Chocolat at a pizza place near Arcachon, France. Pure melt in your mouth, hot, gooey goodness!

Two things with the one meal.
Steak medium done in a special wine sauce and to follow up a type of French ice cream on an apple tart portion.
    Gawd I was in heaven.
    Location: Nice, Southern France.

Takeaway wise. A Doner Kebab in a sidestreet takeaway in Lyon. A hollowed out peice of flat bread, insides smeered with chilli and garlic sauce, before being stuffed with the doner meat and salad.

Restrarant wise. A meal called an Elephants Ear. A 12oz steak, served on a bed of champ, with side of chips, peas, onion rings, pepersauce, and garlic bread. At the Abbey Hotel Restrarant in Donegal Town.

Happy Meal with extra nuggets in O'Connell St McDonalds back in 1988
I got a 'Young Einstein' action figure which when I think about it, was pointless.

There is a place in town that I'm too mean to mention =P that does the best Italian food ever. The wine is amazing, and whenever we show up, regardless of how busy they are, and people being turned away, they always find us a table. Overdue a visit tbh :)

No:D He sat on my lap while I ate the toast, I was wearing only boxers at the time though, which, on reflection, was a bit strange. It was all totally innocent though!

I can't actually remember what I had, but I know it was Chinese food. In a really fancy Chinese restaurant in Seychelles. Made better by the fact that it was only about 300 rupees (about €15 euro), and this was very expensive for Seychelles.

God I loved that country. You'd get drunk on a tenner.
