what would be the position if you put a 'keep off fence' sign on the side of a fence facing the neighbours.

If the fence was in your garden and was not a boundary fence could the neighbours have a claim that you remove the sign on the basis they claim it appears to be directed at their kids even if it was not

Would it be true to say a fence on your side of the boundary fence can have anything you like on the neighbours side but within your 'space'

    Good fences make good neighbours.

If it's a fence within your boundaries, surely you don't need a sign, they are trespassing by being on the fence.
