Always an impressive show, especially if you've never seen him before.
I've seen him a good few times (he's played the Olympia and Vicar Street over the last decade, and I also saw him in Cork and Galway). He usually does solo acoustic performances, but I saw him once with a band, and once with Danny Thompson on bass.
He usually does Beeswing and 1952 Vincent Black Lightning, but not always. He'll often throw in some old Fairport Convention stuff too.

    Thanks for the reply Delbert,

I've heard all good things about RT live in the past and good to see your thoughts are no different, I wasn't aware that he played here that often, I thought he rarely came over, Ah well, be good to finally catch him! I know a fair bit of his material so I should hopefully know a good bit of the set, His latest LP Dream Attic is also very strong! Be great to hear the songs mentioned above too and hopefully Meet on the Ledge! cracking tune! Wow must have been really something to see RT and Danny play together!!!

Fantastic gig from RT! One of the best concerts I've ever seen, No exaggeration, I would highly recommend anyone to catch RT live, 1 hour and 40 minutes of non stop top shelve music,

    Brilliant!!!

He also played the 3 songs I had mentioned above Delbert!, There was only one or two I didn't know, but I enjoyed them just as much!!! Happy Days!

I'll be sure to catch him live again!
