Today I stupidly left my iPhone 4 and wallet on top of my car after buying some shopping from supervalu about a mile from my house. At the time it was easier to put the small items on top of the car.

Remarkably I have both of them now... Used the tracing service apple have and found the phone half way on the side of a busy road.. The wallet was picked up by a woman further down who called me after finding my business cards in it.

The iPhone was pretty beat up but works and its under warranty so I can get it fixed for free(I think) Unfortunately I had my atm card locked before I knew the woman had it and you can't undo this so I gotta wait for that :P

So how has your day been? Anything exciting or extremely brain dead stupid like mine?

I don't think driving with it on the top of your motor is covered by 'fair use'... even if it was from Supervalu... oooh Supervalu...

My day was monotonous enough, and to my shame, I didn't leave the quarter acre site that I live on. :o

It defiantly doesn't, they don't even cover "accidents" we'll see what happens. I'm hoping anyway.

I had a few cans, cycled to the river to watch some of the tall ships pass by, and then I went on boards. Twas a good day all in all.

I travelled back in time to the year 1955 to stop Biff Tannen from giving himself the Gray's Sports Almanace and then travelled back to the REAL 1985.

    Drinking and then cycling?

You should _never_ cycle over the limit.

Everyone knows you'll lamp yourself if ya do

I went to a job interview for Starbucks. Got the biggest sandwich of my life for $5. It was AMAZING. Then I met a pal and went to see Bad Teacher. It was funnier than I thought it would be. Then I went to the laundromat and did me washing! Now just looking for more jobs online. Sigh! Someone hire me!

Not a bad day at all.

Oh and it was about 30 degrees all day :D:D

I saw Bad Teacher yesterday too. It's not great. Watched Bad Santa for the first time since it came out to make up for it.

Booked tickets to Ireland in panic this morning... As it turned out a colleague couldn't cover for me at work, so I had to make new plans altogether when it came to the flight back. Thank God and the baby Jesus, it is all booked and done now! :o
    Ireland, here I come!

Also, planning my hairdresser appointment tomorrow. I'll cut off my hair real short (hopefully I'll be as determined tomorrow and go through with it) and am really looking forward to it :pac:

... But no, nothing half as exciting as your story OP :)

Today after cutting my way through miles of dense jungle undergrowth i happened upon a lost tribe of pygmy folk. They welcomed me as if i were their God.

They created a throne for me to sit on and bare breasted maidens fanned me with palm leaves whilst feeding me with fruits from the jungle.

This continued for the majority of the day. I'm currently in a steaming hot bath on a fire. The locals have been throwing in various spices and herbs which i find to be most relaxing.

Overall my day cant get much better. The poor locals look starved however, they really should take better care of themselves.

I discovered that instead of having 3 broken toes following a motorcycle "incident" in Asia, I actually have 4 broken. And I have a dose of the shits.

So had better to be honest.

    Also unproductive.

Burnt myself out yesterday, and am a vegetated mess today.

I do feel though, that if I cancelled my internet, I wouldn't end up quite as unproductive.
