Are there Irish doctors out of work?

    Not sure how many places you can study to be a doctor in Ireland,so wondering is there many doctors out of work?Or havent we enough people doing it

    There will soon be a catastrophic shortage of Non-Consultant Hospital Doctors in Ireland. The problem is that Irish Doctors don't want to work here - lousy hours , bullying consultants , very poor training , etc - result is HSE has to recruit from Pakistan , etc however new visa regulations are a major disincentive.
    The conspiracy theorists say this is deliberate goverment policy to allow hospitals to be downgraded , A+E depts closed , etc.
    I think the conspiracy theorists are right.
