Travel insurance on existing trip?

    Anyone know of a travel insurance company who will give 6 month travel insurance on an existing trip?

    Stupidly forgot to extend mine while away and since it's lapsed justcover.ie won't either allow me to extend it or take out a new policy.

    Any websites I've seen always stipulate a departure date to receive a quote, and if I do end up making a claim I'm sure they'll look for flight tickets to prove I left when I said I did.

    Anyone got any ideas? Cheers.

    As far as I remember World Nomads just stipulates when you want the policy to start. From what I saw, it was one of the only companies that allowed you to start your cover outside of Ireland

    Yeah I email a shedload of Irish companies, none would insure me since my trip had already started. Worldnomads did the trick though, 2 mins online and all done and dusted!

    Overpriced, but beggars can't be choosers.
