Will these makes work with hooking up a subwoofer to them?

Was going to answer your other thread on the same subject, but I'll answer this one instead ;)

Any radio can be made to work with a Sub, but what you want for audio clarity is to separate the frequencies going to the sub and the speakers. There's no point in sending bass to the normal speakers and having them distort if you've a sub there. If you're insistent in using the LIDLIDIDL stereo, you would probably have to invest in some passive high pass filters to put on your speakers.

The best and easiest way to do it is to buy a stereo which has a crossover and sub out built in. Makes life a lot easier, and it'll sound a million times better than the Silvercrest anyway - those units, while doing what they say on the tin, are pants.
