Question About Car insurances

just a quick question, i recently sold my car, and wont have a new one for a couple of weeks, i have a policy with aviva at the moment, and im just wondering can i put my insurance onto my mothers car which already has a policy? or would i be better leaving it on the old car until i have the new one, and driving my mothers…

Open to correction but I don't think you can have 2 policies on the same car. Otherwise what is to stop someone from making a double claim?

I think the best thing to do is suspend your current policy since you have already sold your car. See if your mother can temporarily add you as a named driver on her policy if she doesn't have open insurance, until you get new wheels.

It will be better to suspend your policy, and ask your mother if she can add you on her policy.
