Basically the guy i recorded wanted fuzz fuzz and more fuzz on the guitar and it sounds rotten anyone any tips on how to actually hear the tune instead of constant fuzz with some pro tools miracles?

    What he said.

Try some EQ cuts around the 6K - 7K area. In fact try rolling off the high frequencies from 7k upwards. Maybe it'll clean up some of the fizz.

Other than that, its hard to polish a turd! Next time your recording guitar, try capturing a DI signal at the same time so you can re-amp later.

Not much you can really do to clean up excess fuzz. I suppose you could try re-recording it??
When I record electric guitars with distortion/fuzz I usually set the amount of distortion to the amount that sounds good, then I back it off to 3/4's that amount. Always better to have too little distortion than too much.
    And also DI as well.
