Recently got a letter in the post saying that I must attend a Fas interview - only been on JSB for two months but what am I to expect here? I have my CV prepared and everything but I haven't actually sent it out to people as of yet - I'm looking at a change in direction in jobs so have been contacting people directly and attempting to build up a network of people that might be able to find work for me. How well will this go down in the interview?

Also, there's a questionnaire attached and one of the questions is about casual employment - does anyone know if that includes voluntary work? And if I do voluntary work do I need to tell them at the office?

Hi I did this at my local FAS after a few months as well. It was pretty informal... I told them I had been looking for work (as I had applied to jobs) and was prepared to move for work (which I am).

They also suggested some online courses.

I really wouldn't worry too much. I don't even think I took a copy of my CV with me but I think it is probablya good idea.

    All the best.
