british newspapers in the caribbean

    hi all. im due to go on honeymoon to the caribbean in september. its the first time we,ve been outside the usual spanish spots. usually on holiday i like to relax with the newspaper by the pool. i know its probably impossible to get an irish newspaper in the caribbean but does anyone know if you can get any of the british tabloids in that part of the world. the star, the mirror, the sun etc. these are at every newstand in the spanish spots. just curious........

    Which Island are you going to?

    They had them in the Dominican Republic if that helps.

    havent got it booked yet. was just wondering are they available. im guessing if one island has them then they all will

    The main ex British ones should have, or the ones where there are lots of British tourists like the DR. Pretty sure they were available in Tobago when I was there.
