That BIG UPC digital Box

    Can anyone tell me the following:
    A. Have UPC changed the supplier /model/size/and reliability of the 2010 Digital Box?
    B.Are there still major issues with the Software or even Hardware of same - that even they can't seem to sort out.
    C. I just bought a Samsung 32" UE32D5000, as of now using older smaller grey box, and is fine.
    D. Last year, had the newer Digital Box - size of a DVD player, had 3 Engineers out, and failed to fix the heap of r.
    If I thought it worthwhile now would consider trying again, but only if it has vastly improved, is smaller and the engineers know wht they are talking about.
    Any views on above would be greatly appreciated.

    You'll have to be more specific. What do you mean by 2010 digital box?

    The HD box?

    Exactly. the HD Box which I tried out in Aug. 2010 and it was a disaster. It was the same size as a DVD Player and the sound was totally out of sync with the TV. Check back to last Sept and you'll see the amount of complaints about same. Was wondering had things improved as
    engineers told me there was some s/ware probs. Plus try fit this box into a medium sized bedroom and you won't get by at bottom of bed!!!

    Manufacturer has always been the same as far as I know.

    I've never had any problems like that with it, but in any case the software has been updated several times on it (mostly minor things).

    So I can't say "Yes they've solved that problem" but I can say I've never had that problem myself so maybe...
