There sure are, you can get 3" magnums in plenty of different shot sizes. I use 3" magnum 50 gram remington 0's for foxes

Just as an aside, anyone noticed any difference in performance between 2 1/2" and 2 3/4" shells with the same loads? I have some Eley cartridges, 32g 5s and the like, and they're all 2 1/2" cartridges. Hoping to put a few bunnies in the fridge this week with them, just want to hear any opinions.

I have a supermag 870 but I have never seen any 3.5" carts for sale.
The PO gave me a box of 9 Remmy 3.5's in BB, I have some light magnums in 2.75 BB but no 3" stuff .
    I think 12g 3.5" is roughly the same as a 10g.
Puts a lot of lead in the air.

I've shot 3.5 inch carts through my Baikal MP-153. They were Remington carts, super magnums?, BB's, 65 gram I think. A big light green plastic on them. Tried them on a few clays one time, they left none to breed for the next year :o Can't quite remember all the details about them now, been a few years since I shot the last of them.

I've heard of 66 gram shells but not seen nor shot them.

I think I've fired those 66gram carts (cant remember the brand) they're dark green plastic with gold colored writing on them.

Didn't think they were great though

    My Remmy 105CTi only takes 2 & 3/4 and 3" shells.

The Remington Duck guns all take 3&1/2" shells, which is useful on the shannon in winter as duck tend to fly very high.

The Boys I know who had North to shoot Geese often use 3.5"

    I have never used smaller than 2 & 3/4"

Used 3.5" in a remmy 11-87 supermagnum. Even in a new gas operated gun with a good recoil pad they still kicked like hell, but that was nothing compared to the noise! Jesus what a bang! Supermagnums are grand for high flying duck and they're great for geese out of a 36" barrel! Imho I wouldn't bother with them for foxes. Once you get outside 40-50 yards you need a rifle anyway. The whack in the shoulder from those huge cartridges isn't worth it .All that said,it doesn't matter what you fire if you don't hit your target:):)
