    ok was looking at this one - seems to be in my budget range < 200

    seems to be good value. i havent cycled in ages. do you think this is the right size for a 5 foot 8 person? specs below no idea what my inside leg is. dont have a measuring tape.
    Also has anyone ever bought a bike from amazon before? good/bad?

    I wouldn't touch it tbh.

    Cheap full suspension bikes are just a waste of time.

    What do you want the bike for?

    My advice would be to look elsewhere. Have a quick Google of BSO.

    A second hand bike would be a much better idea at this price.

    going to and from work and a general runabout for town.
    was looking for some decent second hand one also. seems to be plenty in dublin but not much on offer in galway.
    googled bso - cheap flat packed bike it is :) guess ill have to wait till something shows up on donedeal or adverts

    That bike's just about as bad a bike as it is possible to buy new. Don't bother with anything under 300e new as it won't be worth the hassle. You don't need a mountain bike to get to work either unless your commute takes in some off-road trails (not that a cheap bike like that would survive even the gentlest of trails), suspension is for off-road use, it's a waste of time on the road. Get a brookes saddle if you want comfort.
