window wiper marks

    i bought a second hand ltttle car for my wife two weeks ago and it has some marks on the windscreen from the wipers ,there not deep scratches just light ones but there fairly noticeable,iv looked on the web for tips and have tried everything from toothpaste,vinager,etc
    i got some glass cutter from halfords it does not work either ,any one ever got rid of marks like that,

    autoglass can buff out minor scratches but if they are too deep (noticable by touch) it just wont work. what kind of motor are we talkin about? is it a heated/tinted screen? your insurance may cover a new one. call autoglass with your insurance details and the above info and they will do the legwork for you.

    Better off calling their insurer first as not all use autoglass.
