Just done my Leaving Cert and now I want to apply for a job during the summer.

Problem is I've never had one before, even a small job so I'm uncertain how to go about applying and whatnot.

Would it be good enough to post a CV to whatever address. If I do, do they call me for interview or do I come to the place in person and ask for a job.

    Thanks to all:D

get the interview, then the skills come into it, the most qualified does not always get the job,its the way you sell yourself, best tip i ever had,was to say, i really need this job,its not a thing most employers get from a candidate ,most young people who go for the interview ,just sit there and answer questions showing that they do not care, that tip never failed me,also over the years as a senior manager in a international company,i have interviewed many a candidate, and i have always looked for the one who wanted it most.
