    Looking for some advice on who is the best golf pro to get lessons from in Galway...
    Don't want anything too technical

    Kortney M. Krueger is your man if you don't want technical stuff, based in the driving range in salthill. He is an American lad, lovelly fella.

    Sorry but whats "technical" in golf as I too am looking for lessons in Galway and would love to get alot of lessons. What price does he charge?:):

    Gary Madden in the range in salthill is very good also you have Sean Whelan can be contacted via Golfstyle and you now have David Mortimor in Galway golf club. All these guys will give you a good lesson and are not idiots.

    AFAIK know Gary now gives lessons in Athenry GC. Not sure if he still gives them in the range.
    He will also give you a playing lesson (9 holes) in Bearna
    For what its worth I would highly recommend him...........

    Got a lesson a few years ago and was €25 for half hour. May have come down a bit now that the celtic tiger's no longer roaring.

    Not sure what Madden or Kourtney are charging at the moment though
