    Hi there,

Soon after the land of snow and ice had melted (or around January/February to those not watching Game of Thrones), I had a warning light spring up on my dash. I didn't think much of it at first, the warning light had a tendency to go on after a heavy rain, I assumed it was an electrical fault with one of the sensors but it didn't turn off and is still in my face when I turn the engine over. As I say, I assume it is a sensor problem, there appears to be no major mechanical problems with the engine and it is driving as well as it ever has. I have a feeling it may be the ABS sensor. I am wondering if there's a way I can fix this myself, if anyone can point me to how to check the sensor or any other causes or a website that would have more info.

    Which warning light is it?

Sorry, its the engine warning light, so duh, yea, has nothing to do with the ABS at all. I've been doing a bit of searching and it sounds like the only thing I can do is bring it to the garage, unless I can find someone with a diagnostics kit. I have a strong suspicion it's a faulty sensor. Is this a possible cause? I have a meter, so would this be enough to check the sensors myself, and if so what ones could be a possible cause that I should check?
