just wondering lads, is this the same engine used in the astra g and when are the timing belt intervals? ive read many different things but im 99% sure its 6 years/60k miles. mines 6 years old but only has 36k miles. what would be a good price at an indo to get this done? i presume the water pump needs to be done also?

    thanks

Many manufacturers recommend a timing belt replacement every 5 years, regardless of mileage. Im sure its something to do with the rubber in the belts perishing, as they do on tyres.
You'd be looking around 280 euro for a water pump and timing belt kit and new GM spec coolant.

150,000kms or 10 years is the listed interval for those.
