It's a good laptop no doubt and has some good features to it that make it worth a bit more than the average computer, like the 2 HDD's in RAID 0 and SLI graphics cards.

But similar spec machines can be found for similar prices new, like this one
    http://www.saveonlaptops.co.uk/Samsung_R730_1041049.html
It won't have the same video performance and the the RAID HDD's will give a boost to yours, so maybe slightly cheaper than what you have it at.
Also I see yours is on Vista so it's not a brand new machine either.

tbh I don't know alot about the prices of laptops, but if I saw that Samsung and your ad, I would go for the Samsung because it has a newer processor and piece of mind really.

I have no doubt your laptop is a great one, but you have to remember it's second hand and a few years old now. I just had a quick look and found this, http://www.adverts.ie/laptops/lenovo-t410-laptop/641897 it has a better processor than yours but you have the added graphics and hdd performance so maybe €500 would be a fair price, but I don't know.

I'll wait for a few more opinions on this before making any changes at the moment.

If I'm honest I wouldn't pay more than 300 for it. Sorry. There's alot of risk buying a second hand laptop and with no guarantee I just couldn't justify spending 500 or more on it when there's no warranty. While they wouldnt be as powerful perhaps I'd still get a decent new laptop for that price.

There is a sticky thread in Computers & Technology section for valuing computers, you could try posting in there to get a more informed opinion :)
