    As the little bong everytime I start my car reminds me my car needs a service.

    Now its my first diesel and ive only had the car 3 months.

    Just wondering where is the best for a service. Main dealers were around the €200-300 mark.

    Now i've seen places like Bill Cullen Group offering service for €99, assuming this is just an oil change and not a full service right??

    Now I know its ideal to go to a main dealer but I just cant afford it, the car has a full service history from the previous owner.

    Just wondering if it necessary to go for a full service or just an oil change, and if people could recommend places for both in North Dublin thatd be great

    Go North.. I get my 06 2L TDI Passat serviced by VW in Enniskillen and last month they were doing a standard service for £129/roughly €145

    I'd rather pay the bit extra and know that the right parts/oils are being used - especially as I depend on the car for getting to work etc.
