Hi, Just wondering what are peoples experience of the 2.2 Froyo upgrade for the Motorola defy. I upgraded last week and was disappointed. Dont like the way the Home word pops up when you scroll across the home pages. Also the speed and battery life has not improved :( After saying I would never root my phone, I have rooted…

Hi,

After saying I would never root my phone, I have rooted it with Cyanogenmod 7. Why didnt I do this sooner. Its a class piece of kit.

Cyanogen is great on it in fairness. The lads on xda have standard Gingerbread 2.3.4 working if you have a red lense phone. MIUI is pretty much working too but I'm not gone on the way it looks. Never tried moto froyo so can't comment.
