Do you guys know where in Ireland it is best to buy/sell handmade jewellery/ornaments and such? I've bought a stall place on one of the festivals (quite appropriately it was an Arts festival) but what mostly sold there were huge lollipops and face painting.

I sell on Etsy and Dawanda but would love to get a bit more local market going on as well. I don't really want to do children workshops with clay to get the parents to pay for their younglings to make a simple blob of clay, but it looked like all activities children related were buzzing and noone was spending money on themselves :) is that how it's done in general or was I just unlucky on this one? i have to say it really made me think less of my abilities to make nice stuff :)

Voice, maybe your children's art class had too many children in it? If it's your first time having few might be less attractive financially but kids will achieve much better results and you'll be a proud teacher:) Also it wouldn't hurt having an age limit as well like teaching over eights. I've been selling on etsy and dawanda myself for a good 5-6 years and selling in shops and fairs, but sadly (in a way:)) my main earnings have always been my classes...

I don't do children's classes and was trying to avoid it and will try if I can, I don't have any experience with children and quite frankly I don't want to have to start, really, i prefer to just have a stall with my items for sale, so i'm looking for a friendly market for that kind of activity :)
