Blue patches on photos?

Anyone know what the problem here could be? I got a new lens recently, canon 50mm 1.8. Just had a look at a load of photos i took off the memory card, taken in RAW. I opened them in photoshop and found that they had some blue patches on certain areas of the photos when first opened (see photo) but when you press ok, they disappear. Annoying coz id like to edit before pressing ok.

Looks like a problem with the RAW conversion. Have you changed anything
    with the software or settings?

Try a different RAW converter like Canon DPP.

Can you post the RAW file somewhere so we can have a look at it?

The software seems to be set up for the 400D. Did you take this shot
    with a 400D?

    Hi hbr,

I havent changed anything on the camera as far as i know, just checked it again there now. As for software, no i dont think i changed anything myself in photoshop but theres a chance the gf might have but i honestly doubt it as she is very good with photoshop. Heres a link to download the RAW file:

    Yep, i took it with a 400d

It looks ok on UFRaw. See attached image. Probably just a configuration
    issue with your RAW converter.

There is no problem here at all except you don't understand RAW files.

When you open the file in the converter it will show you areas which are clipped in both highlights (red) and shadows (blue). In the screen shot you attached there is a whole load of shadow clipping. Adjust your exposure to reduce that before you import to begin your PP. If you look at your histogram it will also show you it's clipping the shadows. The triangles at the top corners of the histogram turn these indicators on or off.

    Simples.
