recommend me a program of exercise and diet

    I was really fit this time last year. Then I broke my leg. Then I ruptured a disc in my back 6 months ago.

    I have been attending the gym to try and get rid of a half stone put on during a period of recovery and unemployment mixed.

    Back pain is as cured as it will ever get(without surgury) and im gainfully employed again.


    For the last 2 months I have been working of my fitness. I love to cycle, swim and I am developing a love of the rowing machine in the gym.

    I also enjoy doing lots of reps on the weights machines.

    I have to work on my core for back health. Safely . Im still tender .

    I have halved what I eat during the working day and have cut lots of fat and beer from my diet. Sugar has gone from 10 tea spoons a day to zero. No sweets or midweeK beer. All this change has been hard but I seem to be doing fine with it.

    I am quite strongly built from very physical work but have a layer of fat covering my chest and abs. I am finding it difficult to move. I dont have a belly and it does not hang over my belt. But is enough to hide toned muscle.

    I need to step it up a notch .. But would like to do make the correct step.
